Project Scope: Warehouse addition and office renovation
This 3,500-square-foot warehouse addition is constructed of a Butler pre-engineered metal building and is utilized for powder and material storage. The 2,450-square-foot office addition is located on the north side of the existing building. This space is a conventional wood framed structure with brick veneer, architectural metal standing seam roof panels and trim, accent downlighting, and large daylight windows.
Project challenges included site constraints due to its small size and location on a corner lot. The J.A. Wagner crew had to apply for a variance for the office addition at the local level because of a unique building setback requirement. Building the new office on the front of their existing building had some day-to-day logistical issues in order to maintain safety and cleanliness for customers and staff. Despite the site and logistical challenges, the J.A. Wagner team was able to complete this project on-time and on-budget, all while VitraCoat stayed in operation.
