Iron Sharpening Iron…a Jack Miller Network Meeting Recap

“Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”  Two weeks ago, Andrew and Tony Harman represented J.A. Wagner Construction at the Jack Miller Network Meeting in Orlando, FL. This annual meeting of industry leading contractors from all around the country gave us an opportunity to sharpen our skills by learning what others do as well as sharing some of our best practices.

The practices that are discussed at the meeting help us to continually find new ways to improve our end product and provide the best value to our customer.  This year we discussed topics related to starting and finishing projects, business operating models and technology in the construction industry.  Collectively, all of this peer-to-peer sharing allows us to fine-tune our business and helps us to be a more effective and efficient company.  That ultimately translates into a superior end product for our customers.

Already we are implementing all that we have brought back with us to help improve both our company and our team in 2015.  As we continue to sharpen our skills, we look forward to another successful year with all of you!
