Andrew Harman Named to the Butler Advisory Council
We’re proud to announce the recent appointment of our own Andrew Harman to the North American Butler Builder® Advisory Council. Andrew is one of 12 Advisory Council members appointed to the committee from across North America. Members serve a two-year term.
“There are more than 1,400 commercial building professionals in the Butler Builder network. Being named to the Advisory Council is quite the honor for me,” says Harman.
The Advisory Council is comprised of leading Butler Builders who assist in the process of forming, evaluating and rolling out new concepts, tools and solutions to achieve greater success.
“Over the past two years, we’ve launched a number of new initiatives with the help of the Advisory Council representatives,” notes Greg Pasley, President of Butler Manufacturing.
Andrew is the third member of the J.A. Wagner team to serve in this capacity. Andrew’s father, Steve Harman, served on the Advisory Council from 1999-2000 and Rob Dunlop, our company President, served from 2006-2007.
J.A. Wagner has a long history with the pre-engineered steel building manufacturer. “We became an authorized Butler Builder® in 1980, and our team has now sold more than $85 million in Butler pre-engineered steel buildings and roof systems,” adds Harman. “Last year, we were awarded the Million Dollar Builder designation, which is awarded to Butler Builders who have sold at least $1 million in Butler buildings in 2017.” Read more here >
Andrew has nearly 20 years of experience working in the commercial construction field. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2007 from Purdue University School of Technology in Building Construction Management. Prior to becoming a project manager, Andrew gained valuable experience working with on J.A. Wagner carpentry and concrete crews. He has learned—from the ground up—how to build, manage and run a successful project from start-to-finish. Now he can take that experience to help improve industry practices.
